A soaring green wall serves as one of the space’s signature design elements and in the warmer months, the space offers a retractable wall system to create an open-air dining and outdoor patio experience.īy design, High Street Place encourages exploration. With the world-class design team led by Gensler (Boston, MA) and Groundswell Design Group (Philadelphia, PA), High Street Place evokes its history as a bustling street with nooks, crannies, and a beautiful marriage between indoor – outdoor. Bringing the properties under common ownership was pivotal in redeveloping the atrium space into what is now the High Street Place food hall. In April 2017, Rockpoint Group purchased 100 High Street and 160 Federal Street from two separate property owners, envisioning an upscale amenity for the office tenants in Boston’s Financial District. This space became a 20,000 square foot retail opportunity. During the development of 150 Federal Street (which is now 100 High Street,) the atrium space between the properties was developed from the High Street Place roadway into a five-story office atrium connecting the two class A office buildings, 100 High Street and 160 Federal Street. The United Shoe Machinery Corporation was an industrial leader in the shoe and leatherworking industry, which dominated the economic life of Massachusetts and the New England region at the time.ġ60 Federal Street is an Art Deco National Historic Landmark class A office tower. 160 Federal Street was originally built for the United Shoe Machinery Corporation headquarters, and became Boston’s first skyscraper. Thanks Tharayut.High Street Place dates back to 1930, where the current indoor atrium space was once a road named High Street Place. I’m so lucky I met this amazing bartender, and he went out of his way to help me. I say this because he left his bar to help a customer in need which made his colleagues to work hard for the time he was away for the bar helping me retrieve my phone. Thanks to the help of the Champagne Bar team. Guess what he found it though the find my iPhone app. So Tharayut the bartender goes out of his way to help me find my phone. That when I looked for my cell phone and realized I didn’t have my phone. He asked where I came from as he is pouring my drink. And I’m talking to this amazing bartender. I go up to the bar not even knowing I left my phone yet. It’s got the best views you could want to see. You have to come here and check out this amazing view of Bangkok at the CRW Champagne Bar. But that would be about it.įirst and for most. So if you want to go to this spot and see how cool it is for yourself, you can afford it, go. You couldn't taste anything, not the chicken, not the Champagne, not the sweet scent of my lovely date. Fuel, the damn fuel making the flame made everything smell like a bomb had gone off. The chicken quite dry, a small piece of foie on each skewer, but it was the smell that made everything bad. 20 minutes later we received out skewers dramatically presented on a lava type rock with a flame and all!! a good 15 minutes later we were told 7 more minutes and received an apology. They had excellent creamy insides and paired nicely with our fizz. Crispy and remained so longer than I expected. Finally, the bottle arrives and is served - yum. And you are taking away the opportunity of me ordering more because I will have plenty of Champagne for the whole "meal". It was taking a bit, then suddenly the fries arrived, and we didn't even have our champagne. If you are going to charge international prices for international foods at your very unique spot, I do expect those high standards, Champagne standards. We selected sweet potato fries, and chicken thigh and foie skewers. I found a champagne I liked, an insider's pick, and it was the highlight. So know you are spending a lot to be here. And that is priced fairly, but they have some premium selections. Essentially everything was very expensive, overpriced, until you get to Champagne, real Champagne. We chose a couch with coffee table set up. We arrived in time to have champagne in hand for sunset. And as you keep going up and around through other venues, you are finally in a little cubicle of an elevator, riding the outside of this skyscraper, and you emerge at the very very top. You go up and up through the elevators of this tower. I believe they had only been re-opened a few days when I visited, it was less than what you would want at the price for sure.
